HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PERFORMING STAND UP?

Nearly 6 years

DESCRIBE YOUR MATERIAL/STYLE OF PERFORMING TO SOMEONE WHO HASN’T SEEN YOU

I express my life experience in a charming, witty, and energetic fashion. My topics range from finances and dating, to social critique.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST EXCITING THING, PERSONALLY, THIS YEAR, ABOUT STAND UP?

This year I won both the Funny Bone and the Helium Comedy competitions.

CURRENTLY, WHAT’S THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE YOU ARE WORKING TO OVERCOME, IN STAND UP COMEDY?

I’m trying to be more free on stage.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST COMEDY GOAL FOR THE NEXT YEAR?

Make it to a major television stage and a major festival stage.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU WISH YOU’D KNOWN BEFORE YOU STARTED PERFORMING?

No one truly knows the answer to what you are seeking, but they all unknowingly provide pieces to the puzzle along your journey.

IF YOU WERE A BEVERAGE, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?

I’d be witch’s brew, because I haven’t had a drink in 46 days.

PICK ANY HORROR MOVIE. HOW WOULD YOU SURVIVE?

I would survive any horror movie with a black person in it by not being cast in the first place.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SHOWS COMING UP? WHERE?

I’m hosting for Karlous Miller on September 6th and 7th at Helium Comedy Club, and I’m competing in the World Series of Comedy at the Casino Queen on September 23.

Wish me luck!
