Friday 1/20/17

The Catalogue LIVE!(The Heavy Anchor, 5226 Gravois, St. Louis, MO 63116) – If you’ve never attended a showing of The Catalogue LIVE, then you have missed some things.  Stand up! Sketch! Character work! Madness! It’s all in there.  Hosts Christopher Melton, Josh Evans, Marissa Sedmak, and Lyndsay Shipley will help you forget that politics even exist. Featuring stand up from Angela Smith, Lisa Pockets, Amy Milton, and Yale Hollander. $5 Cover. Doors  at 8 pm.

Eugene Bean Petal and Cat Claw Screecher (The Monocle, 4510 Manchester, St. Louis, MO 63110The monocle has a night of musical comedy and comedic poetry planned for the evening.  Combine great entertainment with the venue’s great cocktail selection, and you’ll wonder why anyone would spend their time arguing on social media. $10 Cover. Show at 8.

Impolite Company: Inauguration Special (The Crack Fox, 1114 Olive, St. Louis, MO 63101) Leave it to Impolite Company to ruin your evening by talking about politics.  But, the show promises to at least be funny while it does.  With Brian McDowell, Michaela Mohr, Stryker Spurlock, and host Chris Cyr.  $7 Cover. Doors at 10.

 

 

 

The Bunker – (Bar 101, 1724 S. Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63104) If improv is more your thing, you’re in luck.  Bar 101 is quickly becoming one of our favorite new venues to see a show.  This rescheduled show features a night full of improv comedy from Callous Jinni, The Featherbottoms, Danger Club, and Poltergeist, as well as a stand up set from Libbie Higgins. $5 Cover. Show at 8 pm.

 


Saturday 1/21/2017

O’Fallon Out Loud – (Rendevouz Wine Bar, 217 South Main St., O’Fallon, MO 63366) Host, Andy Hamilton is doing a great job of providing solid shows in a intimate venue.  This Saturday will be no different.  The show is headlined by Sean O’Brien, and features Duke Taylor, and Stryker Spurlock.  $10 Cover with 2 item minimum. Show at 8:30.

 

 

 

 

 

Picnic Time Forever(The Monocle, 4510 Manchester, St. Louis, MO 63110) Wait! Wasn’t this show supposed to be last week? It sure was. But, St. Louis shuts down when the weather report is scary.  Stop in for a fun night of laughs and drinks with hosts Justin Luke and Andrew Mihalevich, and supporting line up of stand up comics. $5 Cover. Show at 10:30.
