St. Louis Stand Up Comedy Micaela MohrMicaela Mohr was listed as one of  STLToday’s Rising Stars in 2015 and they nailed that description.  She runs shows and performs all around town and is getting to be a fan favorite at many shows.

How long have you been performing stand up?
3 & 1/2 years-ish

Who are your biggest comedy influences?
My dad. George Carlin. Steve Martin. Bobcat Goldthwait. Lucille Ball.

Describe your worst experience on stage.
Getting rapey things yelled at me (and it wasn’t stopped because security thought those losers were my friends…?)

What’s your best on stage experience?
When I put all my bullshit aside and just went for it head first performing at San Loo this past January. I felt more like myself than ever.

What’s your favorite thing about the St. Louis comedy scene?

Is there anything you’d like to say to the people sitting in the coffee house where I’m typing up this list of questions?
Yeah, it smells great in here. Keep up the good work. Unless you’re at Starbucks, then just look at everyone with disgust.
