Pool’s Open – St. Louis Comedy Shows 6/5-6/11

Hi!  It’s summer!  Hop in the pool.  Go on, you’ve got time. Get comfortable, hop in the pool.  Here’s a mojito.  How’s that for a pool drink?  I knew you’d like it. Relax, I’ve got you a raft.  You don’t know how to swim? Bar 101 Open St. Louis Comedy - Bar 101 Open MicMic  (8 PM, Bar 101 Soulard, 3rd and Lafayette, 1724 South Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63104) – Soulard comedy fans see up-and-comers at this weekly mic hosted by Josh Slobe. Plus, there’s $3 PBRs to keep everyone happy, wealthy, and wise!








St. Louis Comedy - Palomino Open MicPalomino Open Mic  (10:30PM, The Palomino Lounge 5876 Delmar Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63112) – The newest mic on the scene adds to the entertainment arsenal on the Delmar Loop.  Hit some shops, see a show at The Pageant, and stop by the Palomino after for a night cap and some laughs.

Jefferson St. Louis, MO 63118) – Mary Mack, a favorite on Marc Maron’s WTF Podcast and The Bob and Tom Show, brings her unique brand of sorta musical comedy to the Cherokee Arts District. Joining her is local favorite Emily Hickner!




St. Louis Comedy - Jamie Fritz Puttin’ on the fRitz (7:30PM, Hey Guys Comedy Club5225 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208) – For our fans on the other side of the river, get your laughter and drinks at this monthly showcase curated by Jamie Fritz.






St. Louis Comedy - Parrot's Open MicParrot’s Comedy featuring Brian McDowell (8:00PM, Parrot’s Bar & Grill2951 N St Peters Pkwy Saint Peters, MO 63376) – The tallest or oldest comedian in St. Louis is featured in this month’s edition of the open mic at Parrot’s.  That’s right, you can try it for yourself!







St. Louis Comedy - Wild Card WednesdayWild Card Wednesday Night Comedy  (10:30PM, The Crow’s Nest, 7336 Manchester, St. Louis, MO 63143) – Comedy’s awesome.  We’re not arguing that, but it can be a little more fun when you throw in ridiculous challenges for the comedians. Mind Blowing Free Comedy Show (9:00PM, The Heavy Anchor5226 Gravois Ave St. Louis, MO 63116) – WOW! It’s FREE! And it features anywhere from 10-100 St. Louis comedy fixtures.  Just come out and enjoy!


Saturday 6/10

Clean Comedy Revue (6:00PM, The Monocle4510 Manchester Ave 
St Louis, MO 63110) – An all ages show! That’s right, skip the babysitter.  Although not necessarily geared toward children, the Clean Comedy Revue is sure to please audiences of any age. The show features local favorites Eric Brown, Scott James, Allen P. Williams, and Sarah Bursich brought together by Yale Hollander.

This week at Helium, check out another Bob and Tom favorite Donnie Baker, who’s sort of like the Blue Collar Comedy Tour if it never made money. Hey Guys across the river in Fairview Heights has a stacked week with Michael Thorne, who’s shared stages with Bill Hicks and Mitch Hedberg.
