He was also the host of the “2011 Independent Spirits Awards” as well as the “2012 Writers Guild Awards,” and has made guest appearances on “Last Comic Standing,” “Conan,” and on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” McHale can currently be seen on CBS’s new comedy “The Great Indoors.”

He has been featured on the WGN network and tbs.com. Recently, his first CD, “Never Coming Back”, debuted in the top of the charts on iTunes and Marc Maron, on the WTF Podcast called him a “very funny” and “talented joke-writer.”
