We’re coming off a heavy weekend in St. Louis, we hope you come join us for a laugh, if only for one night. It’s a pretty light week when it comes to the usual hustle and bustle of St. Louis comedy, so rest up, exercise your rights, and then come out to a show!

Jeremy Essig at Helium Comedy (8PM, 1151 Saint Louis Galleria St. Louis, MO 63117)

Local boy done good Jeremy Essig, best known as a stand-up comedian and writer, has been making waves in the local music scene as guitarist in Shark Dad.  His comedy, described in NUVO magazine as “Intelligent Cynicism,” walks the line between “smart” comedy and mindless indulgence. In a matter of minutes, Essig can move seamlessly between current events and kitchen appliances, weaving the two together with a nod to his love of pop culture.
