It’s a dumb pun, but it correctly expresses our desire for you to see a live comedy show this weekend. Starting tonight. There are so many choices, you might have an anxiety attack. You know, that feeling when you’re presented with so many choices that your chest tightens and your vision starts to tunnel? Your breathing speeds up and gets shallow. Your body temperature increases. You feel like you’re going to faint.
Then you remember, it’s just comedy. No one’s going to die if you don’t choose their show. So pick the one closest to you. Or the one your friends will be at. Or throw a dart at your computer monitor and see where it puts you.

Show starts @ 8:30 PM, Saturday Feb 25th.
One of the problems a lot of comedy scenes deal with is the tension that exists between the local comedy clubs and the comics who put on DIY shows around their city. St. Louis is lucky enough to have three clubs comics can get work in, and who aren’t antagonistic towards indy shows. Not only that, all three have regular open mics and showcases that only feature local talent.
Max Price is one of the finalists in the St. Louis Funny Bone’s 2016 Annual Comedy Competition. He can be found performing on a lot of showcases around town, and is the host of a new regular showcase at the Funny Bone, as well as his own indy showcase at Sappington Lounge.
