Stand up comedian, Brian McDowell is a regular host and feature at Hey Guys! Comedy Club in Fairview Heights, Illinois. He just wrapped up a weekend working with the legendary Jimmy Walker.
Vincent Bryant was a finalist in Helium Comedy’s 2016 Funniest Person in St. Louis contest and performs regularly at The St. Louis Funny Bone.
One of the problems a lot of comedy scenes deal with is the tension that exists between the local comedy clubs and the comics who put on DIY shows around their city. St. Louis is lucky enough to have three clubs comics can get work in, and who aren’t antagonistic towards indy shows. Not only that, all three have regular open mics and showcases that only feature local talent.
Andy Hamilton recently inherited the monthly showcase, O’Fallon Out Loud from Shaun Arredondo and has been doing a great job making sure the show continues to live up to the standards for which it is known. He’s also the host of Parrot’s Open Mic, which takes place every Wednesday at Parrot’s Bar and Grill in St. Peters.
Reggie Edwards is a rapper and stand up comedian in the St. Louis scene. He’s a regular host at the St. Louis Funny Bone, where he just won their 2016 Comedy Contest.

SarahBursich started doing stand up in southern Illinois, but she’s become a mainstay in the St. Louis scene very quickly.
Stand up comic, Ben Johnson, has one of the most most unique and entertaining acts in town.
