Would you rather be covered in spiders, or live in a world without tacos?

Since I’ve been bitten by a spider and it was no fun and woke up to find the campfire surrounded by a half dozen tarantulas while I slept a few feet away in a mummy sleeping bag, I would prefer to live without taco’s. It wouldn’t be much of a sacrifice since I could still eat all of the fillings separately.

Do you even lift?

Only when necessary! Like when I have to carry the vacuum cleaner from one floor to another or when I have to move mulch around in my yard. When my husband leaves his weights out in the middle of the room, I first curse him under my breath and then roll them out of the way.

Plug something. Commerce will save us all!

We all have dreams and goals, one I hope to realize soon is to write and produce a one-woman-show for various fringe festivals. I hope to prove that Deadpan Jan can bring life to a comedy show.

He is from Missouri, but the other major metropolitan area that everyone over here is supposed to hate.

What are you looking forward to most at the festival this year?

Seeing my friends in the festival delight the crowds with their jokes, bringing my favorite jackets out of California retirement and watching my enemies get crushed (they know who they are).

When/where are you performing at the festival?

The Atomic Cowboy Saturday at 8PM. I’ll be espousing the wonderful benefits of Herbalife all the other times during the festival. You’ll want to avoid me at all costs.

Would you rather be covered in spiders, or live in a world without tacos?

I would have to say tacos because then I would never know they existed, therefore would not know what I’m missing out on. But let’s say it’s a world without tacos starting now I’d still pick that one because I could throw the ingredients of a taco together in another form. And who wouldn’t like to eat carne asada, cilantro and onions in the shape of a swan?

Do you even lift?

I assume you’re talking about weights and if you’re trying to provoke me into some sort of fight just be warned I’m fully prepared to engage in a battle of wits with you, which I will also lose badly while still flailing about like a bird somehow.

If you’re ever in Los Angeles, come to the monthly show I co-produce called Funny How? It’s really well-run and the lineup is always great.
