Friday 2/10

A Solid 20 (The Monocle, 4510 Manchester, St. Louis, MO 63110) – Produced by Eric Brown and Chris Cyr, A Solid 20 focuses on giving local comics longer sets. Tonight’s show is hosted by Brown, and features Sarah Bursich, Brandon Judd, and Carolyn Agnew.  $10 Cover. Doors at 7 / Show at 8.

Friends With Benefits (St. Louis Public Library, 1301 Olive, St. Louis, MO 63101)Kenny Kinds and The Improv Shop are providing the laughs at this fundraiser for The Young Friends of the St. Louis Public Library.  There’s food, drinks, and music provided with your ticket to this event that raises money for a good cause. $20 Ticket.  Starts at 7.


Amazing Free Comedy Show (The Heavy Anchor, 5226 Gravois, St. Louis, MO 63116) – Matt Barnes hosts a showcase that has more comics than we’ve ever listed in one paragraph.  The show features Christine Compass, Chad Wallace, Ella Fritts, Nick Tacony, Jon Vengoni, Quentin Wilbert, David Meyer, Ryan Dalton, Dirk Denning, Andrew Frank, and Sam Rootbeer. This show is free.  It starts at 9 and goes until…well…that’s a lot of comics.  You’ll have fun with all of these laughs.

The Bunker (Bar 101, 1724 South Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63104) – This weekly show is getting quite a following.  Tonight features stand up from Justin Luke, and is packed with improve.  The space is great for viewing a show and the drink and food specials make it an all night affair.  $5 Cover. Saturday 2/11

The Carbondale Comedians Present (The Diamond Club, 1000 Miners Dr, Marion, Illinois 62959) – It’s not in St. Louis, but the comedians are St. Louis based.  Eric Brown and Andrew Frank take their material from the Gateway City to the City of Carbon.  The event is a fundraiser for eLaunch and has dinner, silent auctions, and other ways to spend money.  This is a homecoming for Eric, who was an original member of The Carbondale Comedians.  If you’re in the area, go do this. $30 Ticket. Starts at 6.



But Baby I Love You, Part III (The Rustic Goat, 2617 Washington, 63103) – Princeton Dew heads up this Pre-Valentine’s Day show at The Rustic Goat.  The show features, poetry, music, and comedy.   The comics for the evening are Larry Greene, Jason Jenkins, Max Price, Holly Laws, and more. $20 Cover. 8:00 Show.
